The total solution to video security begins with Sony's new NSR-1000 Series Network Surveillance Servers. These HD Ready recording servers are compatible with HD displays and HD cameras, allowing operators to monitor high-resolution, highquality images in high definition. The NSR-1000 Series are "Hybrid DVRs" because they support analog as well as IP cameras. By combining Sony IP Cameras with the NSR-1000 Series, DEPA™ Video Analytics can be achieved, to analyze object movement and determine which images should be recorded or when an alarm should be triggered.

Sony's new line of megapixel cameras virtually see in the dark, capturing the images - and the perpetrators - in clear and detailed resolution - day or night. Sony's super sensitive, ExwavePRO™ sensors with progressive scan CCD technology allow these cameras to capture moving images even in low light conditions. A Variable Gamma Setting feature allows the user to select from six settings, depending on the lighting conditions, making these cameras ideal for interiors and exteriors in both dark and brightly lit environments. Sony megapixel cameras come as fixed or minidome, with an option of ruggedized or non-ruggedized housing and can be mounted indoors or out.
