Sony Installations Services:

Site Management
  • Schedule and coordinate technicians on hotel property
  • Develop installation schedules and facilitate relationship with Video on Demand (VoD) providers and labor
  • Perform 14-Point Inspection:
    • Review HD RF cable and connectors
    • Review Display mounting
    • Review configurations
    • Test analog SD channels
    • Test digital HD channels
    • Test barker channel
    • Test digital HD PPV channels
    • Review room wiring
    • Review A/V device mapping
    • Test cable bandwidth
    • Test bit error rate
    • Final Site Management Report


Basic Installation
  • Tuner Installation
  • Cable (wall-to-display), configure,and test display per property specifications
  • Channel mapping,default volume setting,barker channel, etc
  • Install the display, connect it to the VoD provider,and set control levels
    (Basic room and/or non-elevated signage only.Wall, elevated, or special mounting situations extra)

Wall Mount
  • Mount the bracket to the wall and attach the display based on property specifications. (Elevated or special mounting situations extra.)

Logistics (Labor)
  • Inventory, stage,and distribute displays and accessories,brackets, stands, and tuner cards
  • Unpack and deploy equipment and all accessories to installation locations (rooms) throughout the property.


Sony Display Project Management:

Site Management
  • Schedule and coordinate technicians
  • Work with hotel to develop installation schedule and serve as a liaison between property, VOD, and cabler/labor

Basic Installation*
  • Tuner installation
  • Cable, configure,and test display to meet property specs and requirements
  • Channel mapping, default volume setting, barker channel, etc.
  • Install the display, connect to the VoD provider, and set control levels

Wall Mount**
  • Physically mount the bracket to the wall and hang the display, making sure it's placed to the customer's specifications

Logistics (Labor)
  • Inventory, stage, and distribute
  • Unpack and deploy equipment and all accessories to installation locations (rooms) throughout the property

Other Available Services
  • Cabling - Install Class 2 wiring. This includes RF cable, security system wiring, high speed LAN cable, installation of wireless network access points
  • Site Consultation/Evaluation - Thorough analysis of the infrastructure including wiring, video distribution system, power, signal testing
  • Installation Troubleshooting - On-site technical resolution recommendation for non-Sony installations (wiring, signal, VoD distribution)
  • Extended Warranty - Extends the original two-year parts and labor, and one-year panel limited warranties included with each display. Tuner Service agreements available at an extra charge
